At the end of October 2024, a team of five students and one Loeb Fellow organized the first-ever Rural Design Summit at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. The two-day summit featured a student-produced exhibition in the Kirkland Gallery, showcasing rural-focused research from Harvard and MIT, and a series of “Living Room Workshops” led by practitioners and professors from Rural Studio, Harvard GSD, MASS Design Group, and Design Build Bluff. Nearly 50 students, speakers, faculty, and Loeb Fellows participated in the workshops.
My role focused on event management and logistics, coordinating between visiting guests, the school, student curators, facilities, and communications.
